Sky white earth white brrrr!
Weighted branches bowing low

Etiquette of frozen leaves
Spring warmth makes them rude
Deer come I watch hush!
Crunching footsteps silent stop
Antlers drumbeat trees
Diamond sparkle sunlit morn
Virgin glistening bed
Whitetail deer and squirrel tracks
Leave odd trails behind
Crows and ravens caw and play
Bird’s make angel’s too
Puffs of icy air breathe out
Icy air breathe in
Frosted spider webs sparkle
Arctic artistry
Winds that howl a mournful cry
Shivering the trees
My heart stirs in wonderment
