I found this poem as a result of your most recent post on your other blog.
ReplyDeleteIt's a rush. The way the thoughts string together, their development by the addition of a substitute word ("Dead babies. Dead doctors. Dead workers...") is artfully, powerfully, and very economically done.
Your internal rhymes help the reader move along, keeping the ear attuned to the words.
And I love "Remote control. No control."
This is wonderful, Rachel.
